6 cups flour
2 packets dry yeast or 2 oz fresh yeast
¾ cup warm water
¾ cup sugar
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
3 tsp salt
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water, add pinch sugar, and observe bubbles.
Combine flour, sugar, salt and make a well, add liquids (oil, egg, water).
Add yeast mixture
Knead till smooth.
Coat with a small amount of oil.
Let rise 1-1.5 hours or until doubled in size)
Take off challah with or without bracha, braid into loaves.
Glaze with egg- let rise for ½ an hour.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes – hour (depending on size)
