3 (15,5 oz) cans white beans
1 (16.oz) package chopped, frozen turnip greens
2 (14.5 oz) cans chicken broth or 3 cups water
1 # ham, chopped
2 onions , chopped
3 potatoes diced
1 1/2 tbs sugar
1 clove garlic
salts & pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a large pot, add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.

Option's Andoulle sausage
8 slivers bacon fried plus 1 cup ham
