2 dozen lg. tomatoes
6-8 onions
4-6 green peppers
1t. all spice
2 t. cinnamon
2 t. ginger
2-4 c. sugar
5 c. vinegar
7-8 apples

Chop and boil all ingredients slowly for 2 hours or more Add apples last 45 minutes of cooking.

No one made chili sauce that tasted as good as Grandma Nicholls's did.Not sure where his recipe even came from. Bus Lewis made some that was a real close second, He gave his kid's some every year for Christmas,when he found out Georgette gave most of hers to me,he started making me some too.
