2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. cream or milk
colored sugar to decorate
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; add sugar, egg, vanilla and milk. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture. Chill. Roll out very thin on floured board. Cut in desired shapes and decorate. Bake at 375-400º for 10 minutes until lightly browned. Check oven temperature and timing very carefully).
