1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 T. c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. milk
1 t. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Butter sides of heavy 3 qt. pan. Combine sugars, milk and corn syrup. Heat, stirring over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil. Cook to soft boil stage (234º). Stir occasionally. Cool for 10 minutes. Add vanilla and beat until it loses its gloss. Drop by greased teaspoon onto waxed paper. [If it becomes stiff, add 1 t. or more of hot water and stir.]
