2 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar
2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
2 beaten eggs
4 c. stirred whole wheat flour
3 c. sifted enriched flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast, water and tsp. of sugar. Combine scalded milk, 1/2 cup sugar, salt & shortening. Cool to luke warm. Add yeast, then eggs.

Add 1 c. whole wheat flour and 1 c. white flour. Beat until smooth. Add remainder of flour or enough to make soft dough. Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease surface. Place in refrigerator for 2 hours. Knead lightly. Form into rolls & let rise until doubled in size.

Bake at 400º
