2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 1/2 T. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Icing - 3 1/2 T. cocoa; 6 T. milk; 1 stick butter; 1 t. vanilla, 1/2 c. nuts, 1 box powdered sugar (sifted).

In a medium saucepan, put butter, water, vegetable oil and cocoa. Bring to a boil and pour over flour/sugar mixture. Add the eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Cook in 11" X 16" pan at 400 for 20 minutes. Icing. Bring to boil the cocoa, milk and butter. Add sifted powdered sugar; vanilla, nuts. Spread on cake while the cake is hot.
