I used 1 ounce of brandy to 7 ounces of coffee ice cream to make the Brandy Alexanders. You'll find that the ice cream has to be soft for a blender and make up however many that you can at a time. I did use a large cuisinart when the ice cream was harder and made up several batches and put them in large plastic containers in the freezer ahead of time. Good luck. George
