"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

2 Ibs. ground beef
1 can (29 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (29 oz.) kidney beans w /Iiquid
1 can (29 oz.) pinto beans w/Ilquid
1 medium onion, chopped
2 green chilies, chopped, 2 Tbsp. diced
1 celery rib, diced
3 medium tomatoes, chopped, *or 2 cans diced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
3 Tablespoons Chili powder
1- 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup diced peppercini, for variety
( I prefer sweet deli style)

Brown the beef with garlic and spices to taste, and drain off the fat. Crumble the cooked beef into pea
sized pieces. In a large pot, or crock pot, combine the beef plus the other remaining ingredients and
bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook, stirring every 15 minutes for 2 - 3 hours.
