1 whole chicken or 4 chicken breasts,
1-cup water or milk,
all purpose flour( enough to make a thick batter)
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken till tender remove from pot to a bowl. Add salt to broth.
Mix water (or milk) and flour till you have a thick batter then drop by teaspoons into boiling, salted chicken broth. The dumplings will sink then raise to the top of broth.
Remove chicken from bones and add to the dumplings. Put the lid on and boil for about 15 minutes or till dumplings are done in the middle.
