2-3 lb. steak or meat cut in bite sized pieces
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 can mushrooms
6 medium potatoes, diced
3 to 4 stalk celery, chopped
6 carrots, chopped
fresh green beans, if desired
2 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
1 can beef broth
1 tbsp cornstarch
1-2 pkg refrigerated biscuits in cylinder pkg.

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef and mushrooms in butter. Add 1 pkg onion soup mix and 1/2 cup water. Let simmer and
reduce to sticky consistency for 20 - 30 minutes. Add vegetables, other pkg of soup mix and beef broth mixed with cornstarch. Cover with water enough to cover vegetables. Boil 20 minutes and simmer for a couple hours to thicken gravy. Set biscuits on top and place pot in oven for 10 minutes until biscuits are lightly browned.
