MIX & HEAT UNTIL THICK, THEN COOL:
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. crushed pineapple with juice
1 egg
2 tbsp. cider vinegar

FOLD IN:
8 oz. cool whip

ADD:
4 c. chopped apples

MIX IN SEPARATE BOWL:
1 c. salted nuts

PUT NUTS OUT IN A DISH BY THE SALAD.
