1 cup long grain rice
¼ cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 T. olive or cooking oil
2 T. butter
2 ½ cups water
1 t. salt
¼ t. crushed dried thyme
¼ t. crushed dried marjoram
¼ t. crushed dried sweet basil
¼ t. crushed dried tarragon
1 beef bouillon cube



Directions:
Directions:
Brown rice with onions and garlic in oil or butter in heavy skillet.
Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Simmer about 30 minutes, until
rice is tender. Makes 6 servings.
