Ingredients:

1 C. quick grits (3 min.)
1 t. salt
4 C. water
1 roll garlic cheese, cut up
½ C. oleo
½ C. milk
2 eggs beaten
Grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook grits slowly in 4 cups salted water. (Stir as you add grits
to water and occasionally thereafter.) When grits are cooked, add
roll cheese and oleo. Stir in milk and eggs; mix well. Pour into
greased casserole and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Remove from oven, top with grated cheese and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Yields 10-12 servings.

* My family likes Velveeta better than the garlic roll. We always
have this with dove or quail! This is a great way to introduce Yankees to grits. As we've found, Kentucky friends really like this Southern dish.
