6-10 thick cut pork chops
1 stick butter, divided
1 medium onion, diced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1-1/3 can of milk (using the soup can to measure)
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 3 T. butter over medium heat in large skillet. Saute onion until translucent remove from skillet and reserve. Melt additional 2-3 T. butter in skillet. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and brown in melted butter, reserve. Continue until all the pork chops are browned. Meanwhile, combine soups and milk and whisk until blended. When all the pork chops have been browned, remove from skillet and add soup mixture to skillet and heat. Layer pork chops in a large roasting pan and cover with sauted onions then pour heated soup mixture over chops. Bake covered at 325º until tender, about 1-1/2-2 hours.
