3 lbs. hamburger
1 good size onion, diced
6 plus cloves garlic, chopped
2 red or yellow bell peppers, diced
1-105 oz. can tomato sauce
1-14 oz. can diced tomatoes
1-14 oz can diced tomatoes with chilies
3 cans tomato paste
3/8 c. sugar
1 tbsp. Tone's Italian seasoning and add more basil to taste
salt & pepper to taste

Brown hamburger in pan and drain off grease. Put onions and garlic in with meat and cook 3 to 4 mins to bring out flavor. Put meat in large stock pot and add rest of ingredients and heat to a boil. Cut back to a simmer and cook for 2 hrs. Stir often to keep from sticking and taste often to adjust taste if needed.
