3 TBSP. + 2 tsp. ACTIVE DRY YEAST
1 CUP OIL
3 TBSP. SALT
5-5 1/2 CUPS WARM WATER

1. PLACE INGRED. INTO THE BOWL OF LARGE ELECTRIC MIXER (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, JUST ALTERNATE THE FLOUR AND WATER TO FACILITATE EASIER MIXING). MIX ON MEDIUM HIGH FOR 6-7 MIN.
2. GREASE A LARGE BOWL WITH OIL AND PLACE DOUGH INTO IT AND COVER WITH LARGE GARBAGE BAG OR JUST PUT DOUGH INTO A LARGE GARBAGE BAG & CLOSE. LET DOUGH RISE FOR 1 HR.
3. TAKE CHALLAH, FORM DOUGH INTO DESIRED SHAPES, AND LET RISE FOR ANOTHER 45 MIN.-1 HR.
4. PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 º F. BRUSH WITH EGG WASH. BAKE FOR 45-55 MIN. FOR ABOUT 40 MIN.

5. SPRINKLE POPPY SEEDS AND/OR SESAME SEEDS

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MIXER KNEADING BY HAND IS VERY THERAPEUTIC - ITS LIKE TAKING YOUR FRUSTRATIONS OUT ON THE DOUGH!

I LIKE TO ADD FRIED ONIONS BY INSERTING THEM INTO SPACES AROUND THE BRAID ON TOP.
