5 Tbs. butter
1 can artichoke hearts
1/2 bunch shallots
2 Tbs. flour
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup oyster liquid
2 1/2 doz. oysters

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 3 Tbs. butter in soup pot; drain and cut artichoke hearts and stir into butter; blend in flour and turn off heat. Combine in bowl milk, cream, broth and oyster liquid; pour in pot, add salt, pepper, tonys, tobasco; bring to slow boil; remove from heat, add oysters, shallots and 2 Tbs. butter.

I think I used half & half instead of whipping cream, and it was still delicious.
The key is NOT to boil soup or butter and cream will separate!. Cook slowly.
