3/4 stick butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup flour
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch salt & cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Melt the butter. Mix rest of the ingredients into butter (can do by hand). Pour into greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.

These brownies were a stand-by for bake sales and family events. Very easy to make--just delicious! And, a little different because they are not fudgy like most brownies are today.
