1/2 cup=1 stick (unsalted) real sweet cream butter, - 2 cups heavy cream, - 2 cloves garlic minced, - 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (parmigiano-reggiano), - 1 tblsp. classico traditional basil pesto, - 1/4 tsp. salt (only if needed), - 1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper (white pepper if you have it), - 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (optional)

1-Add the heavy cream, on medium low heat bring to a simmer. 2- Add the butter and gently whisk until melted. 3- After it has started simmering add the garlic, Parmesan cheese, gently keep stirring so the cheese will break down into the sauce. approximately 8 to 10 minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken (do not boil sauce only simmer it). 4- Then add the pepper, and pesto and mix. 5- Taste the sauce then salt to your taste (be sure to mix well before adding more salt). 5- Pour on top of noodles and toss to coat. 6- Plate and sprinkle a little more Parmesan cheese and/or mozzarella cheese on top.

Be very careful with the salt. Most of the time its already salty enough because of the cheese. The salt content will get stronger and stronger as the sauce begins to reduce and thicken. Do not add the salt to early.
