4 large apples peeled and cut in 1 inch cubes
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Place all the ingredients in a 2 quart sauce pan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to a simmer, partially cover and cook 20 minutes. Mash with a fork or potato masher. Cook uncovered 5 to 10 minutes longer or until thick.
