1 lb. dry ziti pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
2 (26 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
6 oz. provolone cheese, sliced
1 1/2 oz. sour cream*
6 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Bring large pot of slightly salted water to boil. Add Ziti Pasta and cook until done, about 8 minutes, drain.
In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer about 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350º, lightly grease glass baking dish, and layer as follows: 1/2 ziti, 1/2 meat sauce, provolone cheese, sour cream*, 1/4 meat sauce, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese, and remaining sauce mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes or until cheeses are well melted.

*In place of the sour cream in this recipe, I like to use 1 lb. of Ricotta cheese. Mix it with 1 egg and it will be nice and creamy, and easy to spread in your layers.
