1 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/2 cup diced green pepper
32 oz can tomato sauce
2 regular cans of dark red kidney, drained
4 tsp. chili powder
Season All

In a large skillet, saute onions and green peppers.
Place on a dish.
Next, brown and season lightly the ground beef.
Drain well
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker; cover and cook for 7 to 8 hours on low, or until done.
Serve with shredded mild cheddar cheese and oyster crackers, and on a snow day when the kids are home from school.
It usually serves 6, but more sauce can be added to accommodate more people.It depends on how thick the cook wants the chili.
