1 lb Phyllo leaves
1 lb butter (melted)
1 cup walnuts (chopped)
1/2 cup almonds (chopped)
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cloves

Syrup:
1 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine nuts and spices in small bowl. Butter bottom on 9 x 12 pan. Lay 10 sheets of leaves in the 9 x 12 pan, brushing each with butter. Add 1/2 of nut mixture. Lay another 10 leaves, brushing each one with butter. Add the rest of the nut mixture and continue adding the remaining leaves, again brushing each one with butter. Cut completed baklava into diamond shapes.

Bake 350º for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Make syrup by combining all ingredients and boil 10 minutes. Remove baklava from oven and cool - pour hot syrup over baklava.
