4 oz. low fat yogurt
6 oz 2% milk (or 1% or skim milk)
1 cup berry blend frozen fruit
4 medium whole strawberries
1/2 cup red or yellow bell peppers (or 3/4 cup spinach)

Blend until mixture is desired consistency.
There are several ways to decrease the fat in this recipe. Substituting 1% or skim milk and fat free yogurt will keep the calcium, fiber, vitamins and minerals while decreasing the fat. 1 1/2 tbsp natural peanut butter can also be added to increase protein.
