5 to 6 medium cucumbers, sliced thin
1 c. rice vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
1 Tbsp. Oriental spicy chili paste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except cucumbers, in a pan. Bring to a boil while stirring. Let mixture cool to room temperature. Put cucumbers into a container that can be sealed and pour liquid over them. Let sit in refrigerator overnight. Can add more cilantro and chili paste to taste. Can also add 1/2 onion thinly sliced, if desired.
