2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1'4 teaspoon ground clovess
1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 tea bags, Darjeeling or black tea
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup Splenda Granular
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup 1% milk

Directions:
Directions:
1) Bring water to boil with powdered spices in a small saucepan. 2) Add tea bags and let steep 2-3 minutes. 3) Remove tea bags and stir in vanilla, SplendaŠ and honey. 4) To serve, measure 2/3 cup tea mixture and 1/3 cup milk into mug and microwave 1 minute or heat tea and milk together in small saucepan, then pour into mug.

I was first introduced to Indian Chai Tea as a young teenager. Adapting it with Splenda instead of sugar allows me to enjoy it more often. It is a sweet drink, feel free to adjust the Splenda or honey to taste if you like it less sweet.
