1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
1 coconut ground or grated
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add flour slowly. After beating thoroughly, add coconut to batter and stir well. Pour in greased floured loaf pan and bake 1 hour at 300º This cake should be allowed to age for about a week before serving. Icing will help to retain moisture.
