1/2 c cocoa
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter, add cocoa and cream until smooth; add sugar and cream thoroughly; add milk, flavor and soda - dissolved in boiling water. Add eggs and flour alternately. Makes 4 layers.
