8 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks (slightly beaten)
1 c. buttermilk
1 heaping c. sifted flour
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, then add egg yolks and beat well. Add salt, then alternately add flour and milk while stirring. Gently fold in egg whites, baking powder, and cinnamon. Grease both top and bottom of waffle iron and bake approximately 3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Serve with warm syrup, a variety of jams, honey, fruits, etc. Serves 4.
