3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. finely chopped apples
2 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Blend eggs, sugar, oil & vanilla. Add to dry ingredients. Batter will be stiff. Stir in apples & pecans. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 1 hr & 30 minutes at 325º.

Topping:
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/4 c. milk

Boil mixture for 1 minute and pour over cake while hot.
