2/3 c. white sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 c. Crisco Shortening
1 c. chopped nuts
1 egg
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. coconut flakes
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, flour & flavoring. Add nuts & oatmeal. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in hot water. Bake 10-12 minutes or until slightly brown.
