6 lb. tenderloin (boneless) or rib eye roast
1/4 - 1/2 cup peppercorn (coarsely cracked)
1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
1 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Trim fat from roast. Mix peppercorn and cardamom together and spread mixture thoroughly over beef, pressing in with palm of hand. Marinate beef overnight in mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, tomato paste, paprika and garlic powder. Wrap beef in foil and roast in a low oven at 300º for 2 hours until medium rare. Also, a Brown 'n Bag or charcoal grill can be used.
