1 can sliced apples
½ cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice

Topping:
½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
¾ cup flour
¼ tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix above ingredients together and set aside.
Line 8” pie pan with pie shell and fill with apple mixture. Cut 1/3 cup butter on top of apple mixture

Topping:
Mix together and sprinkle over apple mixture and drizzle with ¼ cup rum. Bake at 450° for about 30 minutes until brown.

NOTE: For a special party touch, serve pie flaming at table. To do this mix 1 tsp finely grated lemon rind with 2 Tbsp sugar and sprinkle over warm pie. Drizzle ¼ cup warm rum over top and light.
