Personal Notes:
Buster Lockett was Fannie's husband. He was always barbecuing beef, pork, chicken, or prarie dog. His sauce was very thin and used it as a mop to keep the meat moist which was cooked very slowly in a pit with lots of mesquite smoke. The hot coals were at one end of the pit and the meat was at the other end with the "chimney" so all the smoke would pass over the meat.
