Zest of 1 green lime
1 cup fresh lime juice
1 cup Cointreau
1 cup silver tequila (El Tesoro or Partida preferred)
Superfine sugar (if needed,to taste)
Coarse salt (for serving)
1 lime,cut in half(for serving)
1 bottle Champagne

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a pitcher,combine the lime zest,lime juice,Cointreau,tequila and sugar(if using). Cover and refridgerate until cold.

2. Just before serving,strain to remove the zest.Cover the bottom of a saucer with the salt. Rub a lime half over the rim of each glass, upend each glass into the salt to crust the rims lightly.Pour 3oz. of tequila miixture into each glass, fill the rest of the way with Champagne.

3. Serve in fluted Champagne glasses -
