Put in a 2 quart bowl:
1 t salt
3 T white sugar
1/3 c shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Pour one cup boiling water over above mixture and let sit until cool.
In a small bowl put 1 package yeast, 1/4 c lukewarm water, 1 tspn sugar. Let sit 10 minutes.
Beat one egg and add to 1st mixture when cooled.
Add yeast mixture.
Gradually beat in 3 1/2 c flour (beating as for cake).
Put in fridge for 2 1/2 hours or use when needed.
