Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 T. sugar
1/4 c. warm water (110°)

1 stick butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 3/4 c. white flour

1 c. sour cream
2 large eggs, beaten

Nesquik

Butter to grease loaf pans and for buttering tops of loaves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the yeast, the tablespoon of sugar, and water and set aside to proof.

Combine the butter, the 1/4 cup of sugar, salt, and flour, and blend in the sour cream and eggs. Add the yeast mixture.

Mix well. The dough will be stiff. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.

Take the dough out and cut into three equal portions. Roll each portion into a rectangle approximately 1/4-1/3 inch thick. Sprinkle each portion heavily with the Nesquik and roll out jelly roll fashion from the narrow end of the portion, squeezing together each end so the chocolate won't seep out. Tuck the ends under and place each loaf in a greased 7 1/2 by 3 1/2 loaf pan. Butter tops of loaves before allowing them to rise.

Place the pans in a draft-free place and let rest till doubled in size (2-3 hours). Bake in 325-350° oven for approximately 25 minutes or until brown. Slice and butter.

Served in our house every Christmas morning to at least slow us down before racing for the tree. Recipe can also be used with poppy seed mixture instead of chocolate: 2 cups of poppy seeds and 2 cups of sugar dotted with butter.
