1 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. hazelnuts or 3/4 c. dried, chopped fruit
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream butter or margarine and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Shape about 1 tsp. dough around hazelnut or fruit. Bake 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes. Cool completely. Dip top of cookie into powered sugar glaze then into colored sugar.
