2 pkg yeast
3 eggs
1/2 lb butter
1 1/2 c sugar
3 c scaled milk
2 t finely chopped cardamom seed
10-11 c all purpose flour
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle yeast in one half cup of lukewarm water with a tsp. of sugar. Let stand 10 minutes.
Pour scaling milk over butter, sugar, salt and cardamon seed.
When mixture is lukewarm add yeast and well beaten eggs.
Mix in flour by hand until mixture leaves the hand and bowl sides clean.
Shape into ball, cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size.
Punch down and let rise again.
Shape into braids or buns then let rise, when double in size brush them with warm milk with a bit of sugar in it.
Bake 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or so, depending on size.
When done brush them with water that has sugar in it, this make a glaze.
