Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Meatballs:
1 lb. Ground Beef
1 lb. Ground Pork
1 c. Breadcrumbs
1 c. Parmesan Cheese
Salt and pepper
1 Egg

Sauce:
1 Lg. can Stewed Tomatoes
1 can Tomato Paste
2 Lg. can Tomato Sauce
1/2-1 Onion, diced
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Carrots, pureed
Basil
Oregano
EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
Salt and pepper
Bay leaves
1 Pork Bone (reserved from pork chop or something else--a turkey or chicken bone works too)

Directions:
Directions:
Meatballs: Mix in large bowl and make into meatballs. Bake in a 400 ºoven for 30 mins., set aside.

Sauce: In saucepan sauté onion and garlic in EVOO until soft. Mix in tomato paste and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add stewed toms, toms sauce, carrot puree and cook over med heat for 5 mins. Add pork bone and all seasoning and simmer for 3-4 hours. We Italians are very generous with the seasoning, so there are no real measurements to give. It’s a personal taste! Add the meatballs about 1 hour before serving. This is best when made in the morning on a Sunday and allowed to cook until Sunday dinner at Nanas. Or at least that’s how we did it!
