2 cups flour
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup sugar
2 T. melted butter
1/2 t. soda
2 T. hot water
1 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/2 cup pecans
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 cup cranberries, washed and cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the dry ingredients. Mix egg, orange juice, and melted butter. Add dry ingredients with hot water and mix well. Add nuts and berries blending by hand. Bake in greased loaf pan at
350º for one hour. Wrap in waxed paper while still hot and put in refrigerator. Rewrap when cold and keep cold.
