1 lg. Hershey bar
2 sticks margarine
2 c. sugar
4 med. eggs
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt Hershey bar in top of double boiler over hot water. Cool, cream margarine with sugar. Beat until smooth. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in nuts. Bake in 2 greased and floured 9 inch square cake pans in 350º pre-heated oven for about 35-40 minutes. Frost cake with your favorite frosting.
