10-12 slices of whole bread
1 stick butter
1 T. corn syrup
Step 2:
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
Brandy to taste (optional)

Step 1:
Melt butter, sugar and syrup in sauce pan. Let simmer, but be careful not to scorch. Pour into 9x13 inch greased baking dish. Arrange bread slices on top.
Step 2:
Mix ingredients well and pour over bread slices. Top with chopped pecans, confectioners sugar, honey, maple syrup or the topping of your choice. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
