Ingredients:
LAYER #1
1 c. butter
1/3 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

LAYER #2
1 1/4 c. chunky peanut butter

LAYER #3
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/3 c. whole milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
8 large marshmallows

LAYER #4
Caramel sauce, melted
Chopped pecans and almonds

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9x13 pan. First layer: melt butter and cocoa in a double boiler (or use a microwave.) Remove from the heat and cool. Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla; combine with flour and salt and add to chocolate mixture. Mix to combine until there are no big lumps; pour into the greased pan and bake for 20-30 mins. When you poke the center with a toothpick it should come out just about clean. Do not overbake.

2. Second layer: Spread peanut butter evenly over hot brownies.

3. Third layer: in a small saucepan melt butter, cocoa, milk and marshmallows; add the salt and vanilla. Beat in powdered sugar until it's combined with no lumps. Spread over the cooled peanut butter.

4. Finally, drizzle the heated caramel sauce over the frosting and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
