1 can Eagle Brand Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
12 oz. package semi-sweet chips
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1 c sifted flour
1 c pecans (opt.)
1 T vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix milk, chips and butter in a double boiler (or mix in a regular pan over low heat, don't scorch) until melted. Add other ingredients. Drop onto ungreased** cookie sheet and cook 6-7 minutes. Do not overcook.

**I don't know if Grandma Brown made these for y'all or not, but she'd always make them for me, Matt and Jimmy. Can't stress enough that they can't be overcooked. She said to not use a greased pan, but she lied a lot in her recipes. Might want to try it with a greased cookie sheet, too.
