2 sticks butter (NOT margarine)
2 c sugar
4 T cocoa

4 eggs (added one at a time)
2 t vanilla
1 1/4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9x13 pan. Melt butter, sugar and cocoa together in a pan. Don't let it boil, just heat enough to get everything melted. Remove pan from heat and add eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition, then add the vanilla and flour. Pour into pan and bake approximately 20 minutes. They'll still look wet on the top.

Just an FYI, my friend, Brenda Carter, won 1st place at the State Fair of Texas with this recipe. She also won Best of Show using this recipe as a "candy" entry. She cut the brownies up and dipped them in chocolate.
