2 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. maple extract
1/2 tsp. chopped pecans
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 TB milk
2 TB instant chocolate mix (Quick)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and brown sugar in mixing bowl. Put in butter. Reserve 1/4 c. for topping. Add soda and salt, then blend in egg, milk, and maple. Mix to form dough, then stir in pecans. Combine the reserved sugar mixture and chocolate. Shape dough into balls and roll in chocolate mixture. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-14 min. at 375º. Cookies will puff and fall as they cool.
