3 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1 stick butter
1 c boiling water
2 eggs
1 c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
2 c flour

Icing:
1 stick butter
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
3 c sugar
3/4 c milk
Dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In pot, melt chocolate and butter in boiling water. Set aside and cool. Beat eggs in sour cream. Add to chocolate mixture. Stir in vanilla. Add sugar. Add salt and soda to flour and add to first mixture. Mix well, but do not over beat. Pour into two 8-inch greased and floured pans. Bake at 350º
for 25 to 30 minutes.

Chocolate Icing
Melt butter and chocolate. Add sugar and milk. Bring to rolling boil and to soft ball stage (about 4 minutes). Set aside and let cool. Add salt and vanilla. Beat until spreading consistency and ice quickly.
