6 apples sliced
Combine & set aside: 5 T. sugar; 2 tsp. cinnamon
Mix together: 3 cups flour; 11/2 cups sugar 3 tsp. baking soda; 1/2 tsp. salt
Add: 1 cup oil; 1/2 cup orange juice; 1 tsp. vanilla; 4 eggs, 1 at a time

Pour 1/2 batter into a greased & floured tube pan. Add apples and half of the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Pour remaining batter over apples. Sprinkle rest of cinnamon/sugar on top. Bake at 375บ for 1 hour 15 minutes. Cool 15-25 minutes and remove from pan.
